K-ROCK Kids of Steel
The K-ROCK Kids of Steel triathlon is a great way to introduce the younger athletes to the sport of triathlon, and is always one of the most popular Tri-Fest events. We welcome families to celebrate active living while cheering on our young athletes!

The Kids of Steel (KOS) was started by Corner Brook's Parks & Recreation department in 1994, and since then has become one of the key events of Corner Brook's Tri-Fest. During the past several years this event has grown significantly, and is now one of Canada's largest Kids of Steel races! Last year, more than 325 Kids of Steel from ages 3 through 15 gathered at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College to swim, cycle and run their way to a fun, fabulous day!
Now in its 13th year, we hope that you'll join us again in 2006 to take part in this great event!

BMO Financial Group Downtown Dash
A great event for K-ROCK Kids of Steel! Kids aged 3-15 can get their running shoes ready and come participate in the BMO Financial Group Downtown Dash on Wednesday, July 26! Age appropriate distances are available, and registration is just $2.

K-ROCK Kids of Steel Join the ITU Duathlon World Championships Parade of Nations!
All K-ROCK Kids of Steel participants are invited to march with Duathletes from around the world in the ITU Duathlon World Championships Opening Ceremonies’ Parade of Nations. The Corner Brook Triathlon Committee is proud of each and every K-ROCK Kid of Steel and we are extremely excited to have this occasion to present our Kids to the world. The Parade will be followed by the Opening Ceremonies with live entertainment. Location: The Pepsi Centre. Date & Time: Thursday, July 27th, 7:00pm
